Volunteering is a great way to meet people, gain new skills and to give back to your community.
You can volunteer as an individual or a group and there are lots of different things you can do. 

Individual Volunteering

‘I love my community and it’s important to me to build up and support the beautiful community I live in’ – Broadwater Farm resident

Examples of ways you can volunteer as an individual 

  • Help out at our Moselle Community Project at Broadwater Farm Community Centre. The sessions run every Friday from 10am to 3pm.
  • Come along to a cycling or walking session to support our Session Leaders and meet local people. You could even become a trained Walk Leader. Sessions run at different times and on different days.
  • Help at our weekly food bank at Broadwater Farm Community Centre. The session runs on Fridays from 3:30pm to 5pm
  • Help at community events throughout the year
  • Help behind the scenes with admin, social media and planning
  • Help us to promote our services by distributing posters and leaflets
  • Volunteer your skills. If you have a skill or knowledge that you would like to share please get in touch

Corporate Volunteering

Examples of corporate volunteering 

Suitable for groups of  10-20 people

Community Action Days

  • Support with one-off activities such as clean-ups and community events.
  • Get involved in bike building and maintenance at  our community bike store in Woodberry Down N4
  • Work on a team tasks such as decorating, gardening and maintenance in and around Broadwater Farm Community Centre
  • Speak to us about creating a bespoke offer for your team

Suitable for individuals 

  • Help us run our Moselle Community Project at Broadwater Farm Community Centre. Roles include set up, chatting with attendees, serving food and refreshments and joining in with activities
  • Offer your time and expertise to help with specific tasks such as developing our social media presence
  • Help us deliver cycling and walking sessions
