Connecting Well

Join the Wheely Tots team for a walk and a chat while exploring Lordship Rec and the surrounding area.

Meet outside the Hub at Lordship Recreation Ground at 10am on Fridays.

Click here for directions to the Hub.

Come along, meet new people and enjoy what’s happening in nature.

During these fun and interactive walks will explore nature in the park, notice the changing seasons and maybe even find out about some local history.

Walks are suitable for all ages.

Join just one walk or sign up for more. It’s free to attend, you can just turn up but it helps us to plan if you book a ticket in advance.

Walking Connections toolkit

Walking Connections was a project funded by Clarion Futures. Between September 2020 and March 2021, we supported children’s centres and families in Tottenham to use digital tools to plan and map walks in their local area, and connect with their communities. The project sought to improve social connections, wellbeing and digital inclusion.

We co-developed a toolkit with the families and children’s centre staff who talk part to share some of what we learnt. These ideas encourage friends and family who might be inactive and digitally excluded to connect virtually, use digital tools to plan walks, and get out and about.

Access the full toolkit here.

“The sessions make me feel like I can actually do something. It feels very good, therapeutic.”

“Very inclusive and helpful and mix of activities within the session – thank you.”
